Is this car 2075??
Hello
It could be that I'm totally wrong but It looks for me a little bit strange.
Why has this car today 5pin wheels and on the pictures from the 60's ONLY pin-drive's?

The wheels are the rare American mags. They attach to a five pin adaptor that is driven by the splines on the hubs. These were used on DragonSnakes and "Slalom Snakes"

The lugs were added for strength, spline drive were weak thus the addition of lugs. I beleive sline drive wheels were 5 pin in type for an easy conversion.

Yes, I would say it is really CSX2075.
My registry from 1976 says "original spline type American mags". Also the first car to have a 289 installed at the factory. 260's prior. 2075 is a MkII.

Well not exactly. The present 'common' terminology in the states is MKI are the worm and sector cars and the MKII is the rack & pinion cars that began with CSX2126. So in common terms CSX2075 is a MKI.
HOWEVER
The term of MKIII for coil spring cars is a more modern term. AC referred to the coil spring cars as MKII and the leaf spring cars as MKI.
One period use of the term Cobra MKI in a AC brochure appears referring to the discontinued leaf spring cars. From that point the term MKII is used for coil spring cars.

American Racing Wheels & Cobras
You will find two versions in various widths in period articles and advertisements.
1) Hidden Lugs: There are five large bolts that bolt into the back of flanges in line with the spokes. I have talked with people that have had problems with the bolt holes wallowing out.
Well used Hidden Lugs Wheel
2) Exposed Lugs: There are five large bolts passing through the center hub between the spokes and fixed with washers and American Racing acorn style chrome plated lug nuts.
Here's images of a NOS 6X15 Exposed Lugs Wheel
Unlike conversion to six pin drive magnesium Halibrand wheels these American made wheels required zero modifications to the street car hubs, brakes, or steering arms.
Even though the 6X15 wheel shown is magnesium, the entire assembly is pretty heavy because the walls are thick in cross-section and they have all the steel parts bolted to them. On bathroom scales the 6X15 wheel shown is just barely lighter than the OE 6X15 Dunlop made wire wheel it replaces.

The American Racing ones are not but Phil Schmidt (spelling?) uses a very similar design (inside only as his wheels use a Halibrand style KO) for the aluminum wheels he makes for Cobras.
I located a 1966 American Racing catalog and it has a section just for Rudge-Whitworth splined sport car wheels. I have seen one Cobra with Ansen Sprint kidney bean slotted aluminum wheels using spline drive but I don't know if Ansen made the adpater et al. or an owner of the car did at some point.

correct, only example of a Rudge adapter I could find, next time 2575 is in for service we'll get some pictures of the Rudge adapters

As the son of the former Owner it was indeed CSX 2075. My father sold it to its current owner after having it for 30 years.
I must agree it is a Mk I as it had leaf spring suspension..... as far as I know..??.
and yes it was a private Dragon snake and they were spline type wheels
