In order to help keep this thread alive - what material were the 427 street roadster seats covered in - leather or vinyl?
If it was answered above I apologize for reading over the top of it.

Street cars were all leather seats. Comp and SC's were all naugahyde (vinyl).

damn, im gonna have trash my $1000 leather seats made by an aston martin trimmer. Buggar.

Probably as close as you're going to get, but it doesn't have quite as square of a grain. I tried extensively to find a match for the original so I could replace some pieces that would be alongside or near old original ones - so it was critical to have a good match - and I couldn't find the exact same thing. Ended up having to find pieces taken out of another car... |
Ok, so the 289 cars had leather on the dash... if I understood earlier posts in this thread. Any specs like thickness or weight? How is leather sold/specified?
