Hi all. The Pomona Fairplex website has great site maps (shows the Avalon) and if you google Pomona Road Race Track layout you can see google picture images of the fairplex and the roadrace track next to the dragstrip.

Cheers
Greg

Do not know the Avalon........do know the Sheraton's Bar. When can we expect credentials to be received? Thanks, looking forward to this.

Credentials will be at will call in the Museum starting Friday the 20th.

Tickets

Is necessary or advisable to order tickets in advance?

Certainly. I agree with told all above. We can communicate on this theme.

Trifles!

Art work at the event--one artist for sure, maybe more

If you are into memorabilia, I am presuming there will be more than me with artwork. My prints of Cobras, Shelbys & GT40s are all
12" x 18" on paper, though I will have a giclee on canvas to show what a giclee is. Preview of artwork at Links

By the way weather report says 80 deg. Probably about 70 dg. at night

Also please disregard my earlier convoluted directions, suffice to say if you take Fairplex exit off the 10 you are about 2000 ft. from the Museum. Formal address of the museum is on White ave. I get lost every time I go there...

Does anyone know when the doors open to attendees/spectators for the Friday event(s)?

my427cobra 04-19-2012 08:37 AM

The event starts at 8:30 am with the first race at 10. I bought my Pit Passes in advance from Marlen Motorsports but the may be available on site.

How do you contact Marlen Motorsports? I Googled but found nothing?

Steve Gallegos 04-19-2012 06:03 PM

Are there tickets available to watch the races and not participate in them, and is there parking for the cobra's on the lot?

Xavier 04-19-2012 07:27 PM

Yeah, I am in the same boat. There appears to be no information on Marlen MS.

I'm getting zero information from both the museum and "Oz" from this Marlen Motorsports outfit. The museum opens at 10am on Friday and that's when I intend to show up (admission to the museum is also admission to the track and display areas). I doubt vendors will be there, but they may be setting up. Appears to be more of an open track and practice event (a warm-up for Saturday). Only way to find out is to show up. :)

That sounds like a lot of fun, I lived there. I hope everything goes well and enjoy the show for me.
