Yes, the Cobra Bash is on again this year!
We're going to call this the 1st Annual Racing Rob Olmsted Memorial Cobra Bash to honor our good buddy who we lost this year.
The Bash will be hosted by Dave Cowin and Carl Johnson and will take place at
All Cobra folks are welcome and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. If you own a Cobra, are in the process of building one or just want to see some nice cars, please stop by. There will be plenty of parking for Cobras and other vehicles.
****Note: This will be a “Shine” event only and there is no rain date. Feel free to call on the day of the party if in doubt.
Date: Saturday, August 15, 2009
Time: 1 P.M. to 5 P.M.
Here’s the Plan:
Party from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. then a Cobra Caravan to the Saturday Night Cruise-In at Marcus Dairy in Danbury (5 miles away). Imagine the looks we’ll get when we roll in with 20-30 Cobras!
There will be burgers, hot dogs and refreshments. Bring something if you’d like and it’s O.K. if you don’t.
