Paid Advertisement Question?

D&D Cobra,

Simple question: Why don't you have a paid ad on here like Hurricane and others?

C4 Cross Fire 05-13-2005 11:33 AM

Who can verify this shop as legit?

What Forum members live near Chambly, PQ, who can check this guy out for us?

Is this for real?!

bomelia 05-13-2005 10:11 PM

What da F* is going on here?

And, who is D&D?

C4 Cross Fire 05-14-2005 06:19 AM

I was sent these photos yesterday: http://www.c4restore.com/ccc/

bomelia 05-14-2005 06:31 AM

My suggestion is, buyer beware. No website...no business reputation...will not give a straight answer.

Do the math,

Mike

Woodz428 05-14-2005 06:47 AM

I'm not suggesting that these may be someone elses car that he is using pics of, however I couldn't help but notice that there are 2 different upper front A-arms shown in the various pics.

Thanks for your concern and consumer advocacy. :D

I don't think anyone is being duped here.

You have a guy starting a cottage business in another country.... his product may be of interest to our Canadian members, given the costs and regs involved in bringing kits over the border.

CC permits an initial commercial post or two from a new concern. We don't expect every post from a new company to result in a banner ad...or to require one, if they are going to post here.

If a company gets traction and feels that the CC audience is a good one to market to... then a banner ad will make sense.

Trust me, we patrol and limit successive commercial postings.

I just think it's unfriendly to shoot any guy on his first thread.
Newbies of today like this do become the advertisers and financial supporters of the forum tomorrow.

It serves no good to scare them away, today. :p

Again, thanks for the concern.

Did anyone notice that one of the photos is named, "34illcropped"?

Tongue Pirate 05-14-2005 07:40 AM

I agree with Ron, let the guy show us what he has. Give him a chance. Everyone has to start somewhere. If he isn't legit, he'll shoot himself in the foot.

bomelia 05-14-2005 08:28 AM

I am fine with that...so lets here his story.

Mike

C4 Cross Fire 05-14-2005 06:54 PM

I'm all ears.

Excaliber 05-14-2005 06:59 PM

The pictures look fabulous!

bomelia 05-15-2005 06:09 AM

I agree that that photos look good.'

But...???
