What Tailshaft does this fit?

What was the original application for the adaptor?

I am having issues with one for a C70 tailshaft, its got a full
3/4" to 1" offset forward of the handle. The one in the photo
would work fine.

Looks like a simple device something like a 1/4" x 1" x 2.75"
top welded to a 1" x 1" x 1.75" side. About right?
