Gentlemen: I would greatly appreciate anyones help in locating a Frame ( Either Bare or Partially complete) and / or a Body for a Contemporary Kit. Somewhere out there hopefully someone knows where there is one.I`m looking for a Kit that i can construct myself with the help of my friends.I`m willing to have it shipped from just about anywhere and with your assistance and this forum I might be able to locate what I`m looking for. Thanks...And Take Care!..MSCHULZ@TELUS.NET

Hi Mike,
Last I knew Bill Connelly at upstate super replicars had a full unfinished kit available.Give him a call. here is his website...
www.daytona-coupe.com

I just purchased my contemporary from him and I can tell you he is absolutely one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met.

Good luck,
Dan

I know Bill sold the car with the small block Chevy; I do not know whether he sold the body/frame/other parts package he was offering recently.

Image auto works can set you up, do a web search and it will pop up.Don borders( well respected contemporary builder)is running it and has frames and jigs for most parts ,also has a body.

Ditto on Image Auto Works. Don is a real craftsman and improvements have been made to the original Contemporary design, which wasn't bad to start with.

One little thing to be aware of with Image. They will NOT supply a chassis with motor mounts for anything but a Ford engine. Don told me that himself. Frankly, that doesn't bother me a bit. I rather like the philosophy.

Do one of Don's Contemporary/Image cars and you'll have as good as it gets short of a Kirkham or Shelby Aluminum car.
