Default Fuel Log for a Holley Double Pumper

Where do I get an original style fuel log that uses the rubber hoses from the log to the carb? I already have the AN style but it gets in the way of the turkey pan. Also needs to be able to have a fuel pressure line hooked up on the rear of it.

Do you have the aluminum stand offs from the log to the carb...is so use some aeroquip blue hose, with push in fittings, for the lines and you should be able to clear the pan.

There is nothing to push the fuel log away from the carb! Believe me, I have checked & checked and then checked some more! This is the log that I use now:

Replace your stand offs....from the carb to the log, with blue aeroquip hose and you can move the log just about any place you want.

If you have access to the right tools they aren't to difficult to fabricate. This design doesn't transmit as much heat into the fuel because it is not attached to the bolts that attach to the cylinder head. I also have it wrapped with insulation.

Picture is a little blurry........sorry

Default Fuel Log

The original design looks the best of course but, it has its problems. Because the 2 legs are attached to the intake manifold, you end up transferring heat to the fuel. You have to use an isolator washer before attaching or you could be boiling fuel to the carb. Not a good thing.

I just bought one from Motorsports International in California. Not cheap, but I believe it's exactly what you're looking for. Here's their phone # (619) 390-9080.

Rick - Can I buy yours or can you make one up for me?

Doug - Do you have a pick that you can post?

Thanks

I'll take a pic tonite and post it.
The one I bought is steel, gold cad plated. It has the 45 degree brass fitting at the front to connect to the stock fuel line, and is threaded at the rear for a fuel pressure connection. Supposed to be exact as per the originals.

I found a fuel log by TC Race Cars out of Frostburg MD 800-296-3760 . Very nice looking log they make. It was $60 bucks to my door step. I removed the annodizing on the AN fittings but here is a pic. You can also find it under eBay by doing a search for "Fuel log" but here is the current listing:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Thanks
Ed
