Just order it from Amazon.com

Umm, yes, thanks. Not sure I can afford to spend a mere USD$1,038.95 on a used book right about now. I wonder if Trevor L. wishes now that he'd gotten into the "book speculating" business rather than "book writing"?

I have a copy and I didn't realize it had gone up so far. Don't know if I will part with mine now. Hmmmmmmmm..... Trevor I believe I need a drink as well, I purchased my copy for $60.00 about 5 years ago.

Here is a copy that is a little cheaper: http://cgi.ebay.com/Cobra-The-Real-T...QQcmdZViewItem

 SunDude,
Some better prices, but ratings of sellers not all that great: http://www.fetchbook.info/compare.do?search=1874105057
Seems to be be some available in UK for better prices too:
http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...+trevor+legate
Good luck!

Cheers!
Dave

Mind you, asking for a thousand large ones and actually getting a thousand is a different matter. Not that it isn't worth it of course!!! I only have 3 copies, one signed by Jack Sears, Bob Bondurant and some tall elderly Texan who was dressed in black and didn't sign it as Johnny Cash. So maybe my plan to spend my retirement living in luxury on a tropical island might now happen! What am I offered....?
On a more serious note, I do wonder what could happen with the current book (and yes, I do have a few of those stashed away!) and especially the leather edition. I know they are far from cheap now - due to the cost of the leather used and the hand-finished nature of the book. We could have had a leather-bound version made for one-fifth the cost, but we went for quality, unlike certain other publishers. There will only be 50 made and half have been sold, so if anyone fancies a serious punt with their kids inheritance, jump in! Shameless plug - www.touchstone-books.com for the info. When they're gone, they're gone - and seven are currently en route to the USA! Actually I'd better buy one myself.....
