WTB Holley 750cfm HP 80528

Want to buy a Holley 750 cfm HP race carb with vac. secondaries. Holley part no. 80529. They're on eBay for under $400, so I'm looking for a bargain. This is for an experiment...

edit: 80528 with mechanical secondaries, please.

Joe your car is too light for a vacuum secondary setup. Go with mechanicals if you can.

Did the car run any better after we reset the timing?

With only 450 hp the rear wheels on the dyno, I can understand changing the carb.

Sid - it is a little smoother with less "kick", so I think that solved one problem, but I'm still rich most of the time and it acts like my plugs are needing replacement already. Thanks for the help!

Sid / Scott - mechanical secondaries it is!

Dblbarrel - horsepower isn't the problem...

Joe,

Here is the MSD # from Jegs (121-8984) $93.00, lock your timing install this so it will start and it will idle cleaner and also make it feel better on the low end.

Sid
