No mention of 'converting' to antique plates, but I think it will be able to be done after October 1st. As long as the VIN number doesn't change, the year change shouldn't be a problem (my title says '1966 Shelby Cobra' under Model Year).

Jay: Good advice no way I am waiting and have them change the rules and force me to re-inspect.
Don: Thanks for keeping up with the legal stuff. I guess we wait and see. |
Zo,
Is your Title from DMV or is it the Certificate from ERA? I guess what I'm asking is how is your title "1966 Shelby Cobra" I want to make sure i fill out all paperwork correctly. What did you fill in on the CT Reg form for year and make, "2008 Composite"? |
Here's what the title says: (They did it for me at DMV).
Year...'2008' Make...'COMPS' Model...' Cobra' I'd never seen anything like it, but they (DMV) say it's correct. I see no problem later for antique plates. No reinspect necessary if you don't sell it. |
