Well, you're missed it today. I logged 54 miles on the 1.6 mile road course today. Lot's of fun.
The day started with an instructional class presented by Don Barnes With Texas Driving Experience - http://www.texasdrivingexperience.com/default.aspx
A driver's meeting was then completed that covered track rules, flag meanings and questions answered. I didn't take many photo's since I was driving today, but here are a few below.
The only incident today involved the Orange Backdraft above. It was backed in to the tire barrier coming out of turn 7 onto the Oval damaging the rear passenger fender and taking out the taillights.

Quickest unofficial time was 1:09. I think I turned the slowest at 1:30 on my street tires. Was searching all day for the best way to handle turn 1 and turn 7. May get another chance Friday as tomorrow looks to be a complete wash out. |
