Post your pictures from Previous Run N Guns Here

Dean suggested that we post some pictures from prior yeas Run N Gun's and I think that is a great idea. See if you can find yourself or post some of your own RNG pictures.

Here's a couple from 2006.

One brings fond memories back for Dean.

The other is to help the Grid Master remember the Good Ole' days - will the amount of hair have changed in six years? :D

hair is the same

but the face is now more handsome than ever;) It has been so long since I have been able to drive on the track, I think that I am a born again novice:CRY:

Have been clearing up enough family things to finally have some time. Will try to go but will have to wait and see. Last minute again for me.

Will try if nothing else but to see old friends and maybe meet some new ones.

Jay

Morris, It's great to see you around here my Friend! I've thought about you many times over the years. The picture above with you and I was during the first Run and Gun you and I were together. That was a discussion about bump steer I'm sure! You were very patient with me. I'm a pretty slow learner!

Jay, I would love to see you again at RnG. It's just not the same with out you.

I love these pictures. I forgot how many great friends I have as a result of that event.

Clois Harlan 08-14-2012 06:48 PM

The picture above with Rick Lake (left) and Steve Clement (R) must have been some very technical conversation. Steve is one of the best drivers I have been around. Sorry Morris, I never got to see you really thrash your cars around.

To repeat what Dean said, I truely miss your advise and company. Run n Gun misses you and Steve very much. Of course we have a late model class for Steve's Ferrari :
).

Jay, you haven't held court at Run N Gun in a couple of years...I have your soap box! Miss you brother.

Did anyone recognize Dave Pilacky in the second picture? How about Randy Scrantz who was running on propane the first few years I knew him. Darn fast no matter what he was using for fuel. The blue car posted by Tim with the phase sine on it drove all the way from New Hampshire with John Chestnut to make many of the Early Run N Guns.

I wish I had a picture of Randy Lawrence and his wife Sunday who were very laid back but I knew deep down Randy was quite the competitor given the stop watch Sunday was using. Great people that were always willing to help anyone else in the garage.

Had it not been for Lew Payne, David Nemitz their wives, Jay Nordstrom and others I may never have made another Run N Gun back in 2000. After the track went cold Lew brought out his 2 cycle blender and proceeded to make everyone Margarita's. We all gathered up our chairs and sat in a big circle re-living the days events. Thank all of you for the live long friendships and all the help you have given me over the past.

I hope Steve Payne from Virginia and some of the Backdraft guys from Florida post some pictures too.

Stacy was quite a driver and a very nice guy too. Love to see him return. Run N Gun is 400 miles closer for him now that we are having it at Hallett this year.

Clois Harlan 08-15-2012 05:04 AM

I need to call Kristen and tell her we have a class for her Shelby GT 500 this year. The story of Sammy coming to Run N Gun for the first time is unique and exemplifies the people that have made Run N Gun over the last 25 or so years.

a few more from 2008---see any familiar faces?

Clois Harlan 08-15-2012 06:08 AM

Reg Dodd from Backdraft Florida, Keith Craft Arkadelphia, and Tony Martin from South Africa. Serious conversation regarding handling I am sure. Tony and Reg were formidable drivers to say the least.
