Default Run N Gun the most bang for your buck

I know many of you are sitting on the fence about our event. To break it down a little so you can compare, I offer the following.

- Between Wednesday's Test and Tune and Saturday's runs, there will be a total possible on track time of about 12 hours. How durable are you as a driver?
- We add 3 passes on an SCCA setup autocross
- We add 3 passes on the dragstrip - 1/8 mile (*Please note, you do NOT have to participate in this, but if you want a chance at Top Gun, you will need to.)

The Competitor package provides you with a chance at a trophy for $575 as well as a banquet ticket (always fun), an event t-shirt(working on dri-fit type shirts with embroidery, not screen printed) and most importantly - a transponder rental is included.

The Non-Competitor package provides just as much track time as the competitor package but without the trophy, banquet ticket (can be purchased if you want to attend), t-shirt and transponder. Just track time, and up to you if you want to run the drag strip or autocross, it's included, but not mandatory for $425.

The Run N Gun Experience is for those that are new to tracking their car and or just want some light participation/fun of being on the track for $250. You will receive 2 one hour in-class training sessions, 6 lead-follow sessions 20 minutes in length, and 6 open track sessions 20 minutes in length. You will also be entitled to 3 drag passes, and 3 auto cross passes. You will also receive a specially designed event t-shirt, and a banquet ticket. This package is the best value anywhere for entry level drivers.

All Novice classes in Competitor and Non Competitor will need to attend a training class and will also have access to lead/follow with the instructor or the instructor in your car. Please take advantage of this offer as the instructors are SCCA certified.

To clear something up, the event is in no way in competition with MVP or 10/10ths. We are merely wanting to supplement those 2 great companies with our event on a busy weekend at Gateway since Fun Ford Weekend will also be there. We have spoken to both Mark Feffer and Bill Neal to invite them to our event and we hope we can let them enjoy a weekend on the track without the headaches of putting on an event. Matter of fact, much of our program is modeled off these two companies as I have attended events with both and enjoyed the amount of track time and the schedule they laid out.

We expect a total through the gate for the weekend to be over 10,000 people, so there's a good chance you will be on the track in front of 'fans' We also have invited former Indy Car driver Robby McGehee to lead some of the lead follow sessions for the Novice/RNG Experience groups so you can be on the track with a true professional of the sport. Local TV has been invited to attend as well as former Cardinals Jack Clark (big motorhead) and Jim Edmonds.

If this sounds like a plea for registrants, it is. We are nearing a cutoff date with the track to meet a certain number before we have to make a decision of go or no go. So please, if you are considering attending, please let us know and go register!
