Jeff,

Are you hammering those to fit yourself, or do you have someone who will be doing that for you? It is going to be awesome when it is done.

Dunno yet, I am good friends with Joe Stafford.
Depends on his availability and my ambition.

Hey Jeff,

Congrats on getting your skins. If you get real ambitious, you can take the 4 day class at Proshaper and do the boot and bonnet yourself: Pro Shaper Sheet Metal LLC | Sheet Metal Shaping Services, Classes, And Tools

The doors are bit trickier but if your frames are good, you could do those too!!

Good Luck.

Been getting some time on this car. Frame partially painted now and parts always on route.

Received part from a friend in O’Canada.
Thanks so much!

Looks great Jeff! Does he have rebuilt T10's available, or do you have to supply him with a case?

Very nice Jeff.
Can't quite make it out....does it even have your name on the washer on the shift rod input?

Cheers,
Glen

Larry - for my own purposes, how far should it be?

Cheers,
Glen

Not sure but I think about 1.5”-2.0”. Jeff’s setup is accurate, so that’s what got my curiosity up.

Thanks Larry. I made up a bracket (around 4 years ago) so that the shift lever could be on the centreline on my Toploader. I think I'll revisit that

Cheers,
Glen

I was curious about how far offset the shifter was because most modern transmissions like T-5, TKO, etc are center line shifters. Of course original cars had the shifter offset to the left. There are shifters for modern transmissions that move the shifter offset but I’m not sure they are the same offset as Cobra. I have a pretty heavily modified T-5 for my car that I’ll make offset left for accuracy. Nice to have that fifth gear on the freeway though!

Yes and no, he has the cases and in my case I had to find a good center shaft. he did the rest. Might be different depending on his inventory.
Probably case by case basis.
