I had quite a bit of these. My car is EFI and I wanted all fuel lines except a few feet for flex from the frame to engine to be 3/8" stainless. I didn't trust aluminum tube to not workharden then crack. At 40psi, a crack can spray a LOT of fuel.

So, were you able to find a tool to make a double AN flare, did you correct the angle with a second flare tool, or just leave the flare the wrong angle?

Thanks for all the pics. Glorious!

Thanks
The flare is correct to the fitting, this is my flare tool I use,

Craig,

What material did you use for the heat shield? Looks nice.

Hi Jim
The heat shield is a DEI product.

Next up is the inner front fenders, we are going with the vents on these.

Hi Jeff
I have a few pictures of 3020 but if you have any good shots of the inner fenders, sure send to my email.

The current owner of 3020 has been very helpful and accommodating with some great details when I have asked.

Big thanks to him by the way;)

Cheers.

That's a fantastic and unique addition to your Cobra. You'll be asked about that fender fill cap quite often.

Mongoose930 03-27-2019 02:17 PM

I will just tell them it is for my auxiliary fuel tank :)

Looks great! I have that same heat shielding on mine and it works really well actually.

Great looking work Craig. One of these days I will have to have you make something for me.

Freshly chrome plated brass Lucas headlight rims with copper rivet and stone guards installed. Craig did a great job of adding mounting brackets to the guard and fitting them to the rings.
