Default Scratch-built 427

I was talking to Karl today, and mentioned the 427 scratch-built car that was at SAAC-31...
...thought I would toss up a few photos for inspiration here...

The fellow was from Canada and declared, "...the project took over 12 years, gathering NOS parts, between 1984 and 1996...this was before Kirkham and before the Internet!"

The car was very nice...and had some details that are truly original in construction.

Very nice job!

Reminds me of Chuck's Daytona build.

Seems to me that on all our forums, we should celebrate each other's labor of love and dedication, this is truly a work of art considering what he must have gone through at that time. To all you scratch builders and even the assemblers, done or not...hang in there, even if it's not a 100 pt. car, the end result is worth the busted knuckles and all the sweat.......
