I can make a drawing up off of my frame if you like. I have an original style 427 frame from the Hi Tech jig (Tim Gunning).

I like, I like. That would be great, I have the front master layout if you want me to send that to you.

I have at least one of everything out of a pedal box if you still need help let me know. You can email me directly @ mknos@att.net or call @ 602-400-7725.

The pedal box will have to be modified (i think) because I am just using a brake pedal with two Wilwood cylinders (hipo manual shift C4). Trying to get (build) a stock looking box.

No problem making a drawing of the box..... I have a pdf prepared already that has the front layout for the thru tube and brake and clutch cylinders. Is this what you are looking for or?

That's what we're after. It would be great if you could put it in your gallery or e-mail it to Dave or myself.

Hi Scott,
One fellow member sent me a front panel layout( inside front view).
Pretty nice. But I am wondering if there is a SIDE view layout showing length?
Thanks for your time.
Dave

hi guys,

I someone would just quickly install a PC partiion on my mac, I could identify the relevant drawiing and send it...

the positions for the master cylinders must be quite accurate that the guiding sleeve for the actuating rod also fits - if you use it...

if you really get desperate, I drive to get the hardcopies and fax them.

Just kidding.
One or two drawings that I have are copyrighted, so I'm not sure of the legality of putting these on the site.
Will PM you later.

pedal box

g'day!

there is a bit of progress: after some "scratching" I found the drawing.
but they are too big (A3) for the fax machine, so I either have to reduce them in the copy shop or cut them in pieces...

Or check my files on someones PC, because my new mac is not partitioned for PC yet.

Pedal box

If you want to take the easy way out, Tim Gunning has a complete box (less the pedals and balance bar) for sale for $90. He also has the pedals, balance bar, push rods, etc for the box. You can reach Tim at:

Since when do scratch builders take the easy way out
I've used Tim before , probably will again.

oldboy001 08-08-2006 07:58 AM

The only area that they seem to take the easy way out is under the hood. A real scratch builder would probably want to cast his own block, forge the pistons, rods, and crankshaft... just kidding. The work that is done on this site is very professional, in many cases better than the orginal car!
