Default Side Curtains

Has anyone ever built their own side curtains? I am interested in trying it but find little info on them.

Can anyone point any pictures, drawings or articles.

Thanks

Wouldn't it be easier to buy them, regardless of cost by the time you buy plexiglass and all of that and the track for them to slide in and fabricating it all.

If you look on Midstates and Shell Valley they have a car with an upclose
picture of a side curtain. The Midstates is the one that has a picture on it.
It looks like you have a rubber seal at the bottom and everything.I'm not even
putting the car together myself that i got started on,i put the motor, transmission and some suspension stuff on the frame but thats about it
and the radiator.I think it takes to much work to put one together completely
even though some people do it themselves from the frame to completion,
you got welding and all kinds of stuff to deal with, for all of the money you put
in thses to the tune of about 50,000.00,i find it easier that if you can afford to put the money out for one that its much easier and afordable to have the
compaNY THAT PUTS THE CAR OUT OR SOMEONE REPUTABLE TO DO IT FOR YOU. gOOD LUCK ON YOUR PROJECT WITH THE SIDE CURTAINS.

Midstate does not have it on their website i see but i do have a picture of the Midstates in an ad from Kit Car Magazine. It is small but i can email it to you
if i can get your email or you give it to me.Mine you can get from the username
by clicking on it.Ther appears to be a rubber seal all of the way around the top
and bottom as well.It does not appear to slide from the picture but i may be wrong.i did see sidecurtains on here on a Daytona Coupe that slide.I ran acros it a couple of times i don't know who posted it. I will email you this ad
with the car in it that has the picture with the sidecurtain.

I've noticed most side curtains don't fit the soft top very well. It may have something to do with the soft tops being custom fit to the car. Finishline Motorsports in Las Vegas makes them to fit every car, and the overall product is much nicer than the side curtains I've seen.
