Looking at the shape of the hood scoop I was wondering how you pull a skin off the recessed sides. I think it might be a hood not a mold.

I was looking at that, but methinks you could actually break it apart at the wide end and pull it off in that direction also. I'm pretty sure it is a mold due to the high gloss on the inside surface which is where you would apply the gelcoat...
