In all seriousness, you will probably need $5,000 in tools and equipment at a minimun. A decent wheel is $1,500-$5,000. I have an Imperial 28F which is now about $3,000. I bought it some years ago for $2,500. Add $1,000 learning how to use it and weld. Then add $1,500-$2,000 in smaller tools such as shrinkers, stretchers, hammers, mallets, welders, rotary formers, sheet metal cutters, and too many small tools to imagine. I easily have $10,000 in metal forming tools and could easily spend double that much again. On the other hand, a Cobra only requires a few thousand dollars in steel, aluminum, and rivets to build. Get the fiberglass footboxes from ERA, Factory Five or someone similar and your in business as a "scratch builder".
Cobra Restorers has the complete blueprints of a 427 chassis for $200. Just bought them myself.

Any assistance or help in sourcing a complete set of blueprints for a Ac cobra 427 chassis would be appreciated.
I have noted on ebay.com just recently a chassis being constructed with some blueprints in the background and it must be available in the States at some cost and I hope it is ih the region to $200 bucks.
I have emailed this merchant and awaiting his response.

I just got a reply (21/4/13 8.15am) from this ebay merchant who resides in Greece and was selling his chassis to our USA cousins- his chassis and plans with the bidding ending at $us 2550 -reserve not met.

I feel sorry for the bidders in this case.

I got a " red alert" from Windows Mail warning that his email could be fraudulent!

Why is this merchant based in Greece and selling his chassis and plans to Ebay.com in the USA ?

I got a internal ebay email from this merchant (I could not respond) which indicates to me that SOMETING JUST DOES NOT SMELL RIGHT!

I have read elsewhere on this forum, that "Buyer Beware" in respect to Chassis Plans and it appears that this is the category that I could be in.

I have reported this matter ebay for evaluation of possible fraud.

The only source of Chassis Plans for a 427 Ac Cobra is from Cobra Restorers who sell the nine page blueprints at $200 bucks.
