CSX2568 on Ebay $599k
Isn't this the one that just sold at an auction for $400k and was going to a
museum in Florida? Guess they changed their minds. |
Looks like it. $400k was pretty cheap, but I doubt it will sell on Ebay for $600k.
Yup it sold at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas this year for $440K (including buyers commission)
http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...&aid=303&pop=1 Looks like someone is trying to make a fast buck. Funny why does the seller think someone else will buy it. If anyone else wanted it for more that $440K they would have bid on it at B-J. FIA Mike |
I heard the seller bought it back at B-J???????

eBay ad says "First time offered to the public in 40 years." I guess the Barrett Jackson auction isn't a public sale. %/
You're right the ad doesn't make since. But if you look at the sellers feedback you can understand why...I won't purchase anything from anyone with a feedback less than 99.5%. Very strange.
I spoke with the sellers, and I don't think they were too happy, but they didn't seem to be they types that have 721 sales on ebay. I checked out the "museum" site and it really seems like a dealership.

OK, so if the car traveled to the BJ auction and may or may not be in Miami, how has it not traveled more than 100 miles from the City of San Francisco in its lifetime.
:LOL:Will I just offered 200 bucks and got turned down.
What, 600k and no Webers? ;)
THAT would be $603,250 plus $300 for correct jetting.

Just a small message to all you "EXPERTS" that have all that inside information on CSX2568. The car WAS grossly undersold at the BJ auction for the $440,000. Every real Cobra guy that KNOWS the car, beleives the car should be in the $550,000 to $700,000 range. Seller HAD to sell the car due to the no reserve policy at Barrett. Not a happy seller as he was expecting around $600-700k range. For all of you replica owners that like to blog on these sites, get a life. For all of you others that are speculating with no facts, I am the new owner. It is in Florida and it is for sale. It is the real thing and as soon as you all get jobs, you may be able to afford it. Remember, be careful what you write...lawsuits are expensive! SFE1234

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a new record for arrogance!
Even if I had the money and were remotely interested in this car, I wouldn't buy from this a$$hole! sfe1234 - may you receive everything you deserve. |
Wow, way to engage the largest Cobra community on the web. Very effective.
