There is NO "Reasonably OK". It is often confused with the "I'll let YOU "Think it's OK" condition.

Just thinking about that gentleman, I would recommend that you purchase the Ferrari. If you just don't "feel" the Cobra, then it's probably not the right car. I too love Ferrari's, but I always knew I wanted a Cobra more. |
"I don't know about you guys, but doesn't this thread remind you a lot of "rsimones"?"
Don't you just miss those ten thousand questions? I hope he is happy with his corvette................:) |
Apologies
All, sincerely no intent to waste any of your time....

Although this thread was heavily edited, you should read it if you haven't already.

I'm with Rodknock.....this gentleman needs to go on and get himself a red-headed Italian....it's what he really wants.
The Cobra is not in his DNA or this decision would be easy to make. |

I don't even know if there's a short version, but essentially, he asked 1,000,000 questions/threads prior to his purchase of a Cobra, and this after having owned an FFR and a SPF (if I remember correctly), debated between a CSX and a KMP, finally purchased a KMP, spent $127,000 on his KMP and sold it almost immediately after taking delivery for around $85,000-$90,000. After this long ordeal, he posted a very long remorseful goodbye and why he made a mistake and why others should be mindful of his experience prior to purchasing a Cobra. I think that's how it went.
At any rate, during this entire experience, he often compared his Cobra with a C5 Z06 he sold in order to get his Cobra. That's why the current OP's flirtation with a Ferrari seems to parallel the old thread. |
Basically, he was just a pu$$y trying to pretend that he wasn't.

Basically, the cost of a fiberglass CSX, finished, and a Ferrari 360 Coupe (probably not a Spyder) will be very close in cost. At least to me it is. Hey, I like my Ferrari just as much as the next guy, but the choice was simple and easy for me.
Maybe the answer should be to buy a used SPF, check it out for a year or whatever, and then, if everything is just peaches, sell the SPF and buy the CSX. Sounds like a plan. |
