Decal placement on FIA Cobra
Does anyone have some good pictures of where the "Goodyear", "Autolite", etc. decals would have been placed on a '64 FIA Cobra? Thanks.

Just a FYI
Decal placement was usually left up to the particular crew that was assigned to that particular car at that particular race. |
Thanks all, I am expecting my 50th Anniversary FIA Cobra to be completed soon, and have the decals, just wanted to make it look like it would have during that initial racing season like at Sebring, etc.

Miky,
I did a 64 FIA with decals, go to my pics and look. It's like others said, it was the flavor of the day on who and where they put decals. I liked to keep it basic, kind of less is more. Dave from Chandlerhttp://www.clubcobra.com/forums/pict...ictureid=11426 |

I hope not, unless I kiss a wall at the track or a guardrail on the freeway as I fishtail into traffic…...:D |

Thanks. I am now wondering about what font is correct for the numbers in my roundels. Anyone know? And where is a good place for the numbers I want, 4X #12?

Can't wait to see it! I went with generalizations & put them where I felt they should go.

The plate will be a great detail! I don't remember which font I used, either. I know I had a little bit of my own vision, at the time. Have fun with it!

A good friend of mine was the crew chief for this Cobra until the Targa when he was switched to the Gurney Cobra (2323), after Targa Uncle Sam sent him off to Vietnam.
