Yes, what Bill said. As far as I know and at least in CA, you turn over the original MSO when you first register the car (keep a copy of course), but that's it and your car is now in the system. I'm also curios on which car this is.

Once I close the deal and get the MSO, I'll put out the CSX # with pics of the car.

I don't think there will be any issues since it is a new MSO car. I would suggest he get info from his seller (the OP shared with me who it is) for advice on how to approach the paperwork in Florida. They have gone through this many times.

Lol.... Not trying to fool or impress anyone with a CSX4000/6000 being a real 65 Cobra.... It isn't. Just wanted to ensure I got the title correct as that can mean a lot to a future buyer. I'm new here and certainly appreciate the info and assistance but no need to be rude to someone just learning his way about owning CSX car.
Thanks again.....

Wait a minute. In your original post you said you don't want the word "replica" to sneak in there. So I guess you don't want it to be correct if correct in Florida is to call it a replica.

Oh for Petes sake just let the guy enjoy his car. No wonder csx owners come in for a landing and fuel up and never return.

Thanks twobjshelbys but I'm good to go here!!! Way too much stuff here to learn to leave and no way I'm going dive off in the debate on what CSX 4000/6000 cars are or are not nor do I have enough knowledge to really debate it. I'm just thrilled I got one and can't wait to get everything completed on it and get it on the road.

As near as I can understand, the OP doesn't want to check the "REPLICA" box on the Florida title application, because that may impact any future sale by the OP of his/her hopefully new Shelby Cobra. He or she wants the title to read 1965 Ford or maybe 1965 Shelby.

Has anyone done this recently in Florida? I am considering buying a car still on the MSO, it has never been titled.
