I still miss ol' Evan. And I was just starting to teach him the art of really pissing people off without getting booted, when he got booted....:(

I actually found him tiring, stating his same old opinion and expressing the same old thought(s).

As Evan used to say "It's all in the Registry."**);):p

At least I occasionally talk about CrossFit and muscleups. (can we please bring back the emoji where we see the bare butt shaking back and forth at you?)

RodKnock 12-08-2016 12:56 PM

Now did Evan ever talk about his new Assault Air Bike? I got me one of these!

This little device will blow your tube socks off:

I don't even understand why you would even want to assault someone with an air bike. That just doesn't sound very pleasant to me.:(

btw: csx 4787 is a real shelby cobra, what else ?

You ought to add one these to your workouts. Add a barbell and some bumper plates and you will get "shredded."

More nostalgia.

"The Facts, The Registry, The Law."

peterpjb 12-08-2016 01:25 PM

Whatever object that keeps you warm at night. It's cold out there. :)

don't you have a registry? (you mentioned it first ...;))

With less than 4 days to go, the bidding has stopped at $65,000. Typically, the selling price on a used Shelby Cobra replica in fiberglass sells for about $115,000-ish.

So what's the final bid here? Tough time of year to be buying a luxury item, but the stock market is at an all-time high.

The truth of the matter is he might just has well auctioned it off on Alpha Centauri. Very much an uninformed seller. Oh well, it'll be a good buy for someone.

There are some negative points in my view. While the fuel cell is new, I'd rather have a Kirkham tank. The Eagle GTII's are bad tires and have to be pretty old. I didn't think Goodyear makes GTII's in Cobra tire sizes any longer. The Toploader and OEM side-oiler are also negatives to me.

Otherwise it looks like a fine Cobra for someone. I'm assuming the seller has a reserve on it, but I'm not familiar enough with BaT. However, I do know other cars that have had success on the site.

A while the Guardsmen Blue and white stripes are far better than BEIGE, the color scheme is bit passe to me.

Now a Sapphire Blue '66 GT350 would be totally awesome! Also on BaT:

1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 | Bring a Trailer

I think it will move at the end but not really sure what the success rate of BaT is... especially on a Cobra.

E5USMC 12-08-2016 04:28 PM

Wow !!!!!!
