Larry,
I bought an aluminum SC body. I believe that there were 3 (fiberglass) 289 FIA bodies that were bought by someone in UAE or Dubai, and sent away to be built up. I don't think there are any other complete bodies left, though there were a number of aly noses available. There may also be some aly doors, a hood and trunk lid, too (I didn't buy those).

Yeah, I knew about those. We were looking at three standard small block street bodies (fiberglass) and I had some questions about their accuracy based on the initial ad photos. Tried a couple times to get some answers but nothing ever came of it. This was months ago now.
Could have been that the shop guys were the ones doing the selling and they weren't sales people, don't know. We just dropped the idea when they didn't get back to us.

Everything went pretty quickly. I replied as soon as I saw the post (within 5 hours on the day of posting the advert), and agreed to buy the SC body a day or so later. I went by in another 2-3 days to pick it up, and the 3 FG bodies were already long gone.
