Is that a 429/460 based engine in there?

Looks like a Cleveland based engine to me.

Clevor type, big hp

https://www.cnc-motorsports.com/cnc-...tyle-head.html

It consists of a Windsor block outfitted with Cleveland cylinder heads. It’s not limited to a particular displacement and can be built on a 302 or 351W platform. Unlike the old days, many off-the-shelf components are available for the Clevor. The 427 will require an aftermarket block with a 4.125″ bore and a 4.00″ stroke crank.

Based upon the photo I immediately thought Cleveland, but discounted the thought as I didn't realize you could go that big on a Cleveland. I forgot all about the Clevor combo. Strange that a car that's as high end a build as this one is would go with an odd (for a Cobra) engine configuration like this.

From the original owner:

"They only built three of these cars. They will not build anymore. I had this one built. I was the original owner. The engine is a 462CID dry sump 740HP at 8000RPM. I still have the Dyno sheet. Tremec 5 speed and 413 gears. This is a very fast car 2400 LBS."

I noticed the people responding get the whole Cobra story wrong! CSX stands for Carol, (AC spelled his name wrong,) Shelby, eXport! Why is this so hard?

Sold for $317,425 plus buyers premium.

Carbon fiber car. CSX4007R

Aluminum CSX continuations probably in the same market range at the moment.

But, Shelby Legendary Cars, just withdrew their 2023 Aluminum CSX Price Sheet due to massive logistics cost increases.

Already in the $300k range for a finished car, now can be expected to go higher. Maybe push the "originals" higher as well? Inflation everywhere.
