Default Shelby LAX location

Hello.
Does anyone know the address/location of the building(s) used by Shelby at LAX for the GT350's and Cobras? I have done numerous searches and only find references to the general location. I suspect it may have been razed for some later expansion.
Also looking for photos of the shop, I used to see them on eBay occasionally.
Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for the Imperial/LAX address or the Princeton Drive/Venice address?

The Imperial/LAX location. I have not heard it referred to as that before, so I'm guessing it is on the Imperial Highway.
Was the Venice address an office or assembly point (or both)?
Thank you.

6501 West Imperial Highway at LAX. Still visible on Google Earth.

The Venice plant was used as an assembly plant before the Imperial Hwy address. The Venice address is/was 1042 Princeton Drive, Venice, CA. I just drove by the Venice address last Saturday and the building is still standing, for now!

Thank you for the responses. I have driven past the LAX location many times, just never knew it.

Default Princeton lpcation in rare film?

I heard there was a documentary done on Shelby while he
was still at Princeton. It was called Interview with the Snake but someone may have used that title on a later documentary that isn't the same one.
This would have been filmed prior to the airport move.
I went to the Airport plant in '65 but blame it on my youth--all I remember is the tanned, long legged blonde secretary!

One interesting thing about the airport location is that Shelby kept a DC-3 there to make the airport folks think he used an airplane often but eventually they caught on and refused to renew the lease.

Another time a guy next door to Shelby's hanger flew a contraption overhead (over the Shelbys) called the Flying Platform and maybe the airport guys thought Shelby was involved. It was jet powered and one man controlled and was dangerous as hell. Some Shelby employees still believe Shelby was developing it for NASA but I don't think jets work on the moon, but what do I know?
