Fantastic piece of history..
I will post later on about the what's and how's and who's of this story...but:
I came into the possession of some home movies.
Taken at Pensecola, FL.. in April, 1965.
This was the first SCCA outing of a 427 Comp Cobra.
CSX3009 was brand new, purchased that month...in Essex Wire livery
This pre-dates Ken Miles in CSX3002 at Riverside in May.
I am working on extracting some video clips to share some of this very cool footage.
It contains segments also showing Bob Johnson and Tom Payne, running factory cars in this event.
Here are a few frame grabs to tease...
...hope to get the video clips up by next week.

Ron,
Your awesome. The film looks in good shape too.
Do you know if Shelby has any footage of races of all his Cobras and GT40s?
I can't imaging he doesn't.

Computerworks,
Great photos!!
If you ever come across anything on CSX3008 (#93, then #88), please share them with me.
All I have is a photo, couple of team shirts, and some programs from 1966 to 1968.
Thanks
