Default Replacement ball Joints

I have a Shell Valley kit with tubular front arms. My lower ball has worn out to the point of seize. I called SV for an
American made replacement part #, was told they have no idea what the joints were made for only an overseas part #. In the CC search menu there was hope but no help, part #'s given don't match anything.
I have 3300 miles and the joints are gone, also the A-Arm bushings are gone. I ordered American parts for those.

Has anyone replaced the screw in style of joints? #'s please.

Chrysler used a screw in ball joint years ago...just a thought.
Get friendly with auto parts wholsale distributor. See if the will give you (there's a thought) a Moog Suspension Parts catalogue
it should have what you are looking for. Many of the catalogues
are now on a CD rom. What you'll want is a book type. This has helped me sort out needed items for various types of thermocouplers, and miscellaneous electrical switches etc.
A stock car chassis builder may be an asset as well.
Just a word of caution watch the taper on the ball joint itself.

Rich, I should have said that I spent 2 hours at the NAPA counter with the Moog book. I tried out 25 diffeerent joints all from the Mopar line. 1957 to 1984. My assumption is that there could be some import line of cars that are used. What I found was that the thread dia. is just slightly smaller than the mopar dia.

Unhappy Ball Joints

Sorry to hear that you had already been the route I suggested.
I'm unfamiliar with the actual design of the SV suspension arm but here is a thought. If after exausting all other options could you replace the threaded ring on the suspension arm that the ball joint screws into, so that a more readilly available part could be used in lieu of the OEM part. This may sound extreem but may ultimatly be better than jumping through hoops to find a nonexitant part.
