FE Water Level
What is the correct fill level for the expansion tank on an FE ? Should I fill it to the top ?

The water level should be about an inch below the neck junction (cold). If the car "pukes" water when hot, make sure all the air is out of the intake and/or radiator.

coolant recovery tank
Add a coolant recovery tank and use a double seal cap. Keep as much air out of the cooling system as possible. I have a bracket and a bottle infront of the engine. The hose runs from the discharge nipple on expansion tank to the bottle w/the end touchingn the bottom of the bottle. When the engine cools off fluid is pulled backminto the system.
