Default Camber Adjustment?

I wonder why you never see Cobras with camber adjustments like this out on the track or the street?

The young kids these days probably have the best handling all figured out, right?

I like how the tops of the TIRES are inside the fender lips.

I'm surprised it is even legal to drive like that! Nice way to attract attention from local law enforcement for sure!

And this is the brilliant generation that shows no interest in Cobras!

Just depends on which era of stupid you come from. In my youth, we were so much smarter with our air shocks, traction bars, shackles, and skinny front tires.

Yup. You can still find refurbished 8-tracks and Quadrophonic stereo too.
Run those 2 by any of today's kids!

Go back another generation and it was even worse. Guys would build a nice car and then paint it like it was on fire. How nuts it that?

When I saw this video it reminded me that I actually saw a car like this on the road last summer. I was driving back home to Pennsylvania from Bar Harbor (pronounce bah haba by the locals) when I saw a civic set up with the wheels like that on route 95 in some New England state. I thought these New England kids are crazy.

You just haven't lived as a tire tech until you have mounted 155-13's on a 10 inch rim!

Anyone have an idea what is going on with the wheel rim appearing to stick out a couple inches beyond the tire bead? How can the tire seal and hold air? Tubes? Double rim wheels? Must drive really squirrely.

I saw a pair around here during the summer. It is actually a bolt on addition to the regular rim. I am not sure if it has a purpose or not, but I think they use it to keep the tire from peeling off the rim due to the negative camber.

The guy told me they get about 500 - 1000 miles on a set of tires.
