AC alloy repro pedals
Hi,
I have a pair of AC logo repro alloy foot pedals, brake & clutch. They have a spring with each but I'm not clear how exactly this spring fits? Anyone have a photo - or just a good description. Help appreciated. Phil. |
Have they already been machined with a hole on the back brace? If so, the thru-bolt mounting hardware goes inside the spring to create the sprung pressure to keep the pedals vertical.

Here s a picture that I think is close to how the original one was set up. The left one is a spring made. I like the way it fits better than the spring I purchased. The right one does not have a cotter pin installed yet.

I guess that shiny nut and bolt on mine is an ERA thing.

Well that bolt makes it nice to position the pedal.

Mine are exactly like those you have MAStuart. Great photo - I didn't realise that they should have cotter pins rather than bolts so I'm glad I asked the question. Thanks again, Great Community! Phil. |
