Question Contemporary & Aldan Shocks

Anybody know the correct Aldan part number for use on the Comtemporary Classic? Looking for front and rear. Need spring rates.

I just do cruising and it will never see a track.

Help!

Hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did, with Aldans up front from Classic Jaguar out of Austin, Texas. They sold me two of their front "race" Aldans for my torsion bar front end (Jaguar XKE) Contemporary; they went completely soft after only three open track weekends. Ridiculous. And I've still got the e-mails where they represented to me that they'd work just fine. Ha--they sold me a bill of goods. I've now put Carreras up front; returned the Aldans and asked for whatever credit they would be willing to give us. Even 25% would've been better than nothing. We weren't being greedy--obviously the car does see track duty a few times a year, but it's hardly brutal--I ain't that fast. The fact is that they failed completely in an absurdly short period of time, track use or not. Anyway, they sent them back "rebuilt." No way. I'm not trusting my life (and car) to those things again. The Konis I used to have up front had been on the car for years, with no problems. I'd been told the Aldans were even stiffer. Ha again, never again.

My Contemporary has Penske remote oil resevoir adjustables on it and they are great. I would recommend them to anyone. Just
a twist and a click and they can be set wherever you wish.
