FWIW

There is a product used in the marine industry for cleaning and polishing windows on boat dodgers etc.. This stuff works on polycarbonates, Lexan , clear plastics.

It is marketed under the name Island Girl , it is but one product they mfg for use on boat related dodger gear--

It is available at West Marine and usually at most companies that build boat canvas.

I have tinted Lexan, non-coated, on my "butterfly" and forward hatch as well as in the companionway doors on my HC38 sailboat
I've used this product since a canvasmaker informed me about it about 5 years ago, trust me it works!
It will polish out minute scratches and leaves the surface crystal clear. Just wash the Lexan with a mild solution of( like Joy) detergent and water using a soft cloth(inside of an old sweatshirt works best) then rinse throughly with fresh water, dry off with a soft cloth. Apply the Island Girl with a soft cloth (again an old sweat shirt), let haze, polish off with another soft cloth, a t-shirt works great.

Hope this helps

PS never ever use Ammonia based products on Lexan it reacts with the Lexan and causes a faint "fogging" that can never be removed--you'll always be able to see the swirl marks from where you tried to clean it--not as much evident in clear as tinted--been there, done that, replaced the Lexan
