That block off is a 'plug' with the two ports on the side. Maybe you can copy the pic to a program and lighten it up.
Here's what I have on my engine:
Canton blockoff as above
line running to remote dual filter
outlet from filter running to oil thermostat
from the thermostat to the cooler
From the cooler back through the thermostat
from there to a check valve and a "T"
through the check valve and the "T" back to the engine.
out of the 'T' is a line to the solinoid valve and to the Accusump
Works fine for me. All -AN 10 lines. 70-75 lbs pressure on start, 40-55 at warm idle. I have a Milodon 'T' road race pan. Takes about 11 quarts to fill and about 9 to do an oil change.
