Default Tri-Bar Headlights

Speedway is offering a set of tribar headlights for 129.95 if anyone is interested. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/

Tri-Bar Flute Cut Headlight Bulbs

Here's a slick new 7" replacement Tri-Bar style headlight bulb. In the past, tri-bar headlights looked good but performed terribly. Speedway's bulp features a newly designed flat lens and fluted reflector for improved lighting, better visibility, and have high powered H4 bulbs.

Roscoe,

Have you tried the new Speedway tribars? I rode in a car with the old ones, and it was like trying to find your way around by candlelight!

These seem pretty bright but I haven't been out yet since installing. First chance the weather breaks I'll go out and post, good or bad.

Roscoe,
I saw those last week in their catalogue when I received my new frt brakes and was wondering if they were any better than the old ones. I would be interested to here how you like them.

First chance I can get I'll report back here.

I just ordered a pair of reproduction Lucas P700 tripod headlights. These are made to take a modern halogen bulb so I'm expecting they should work OK.

$226 Aussie ($126US) including bulbs. I got them from a guy in South Australia that just deals in classic car lights and electrical stuff. He imports Lucas gear from the UK. I also ordered a set of Lucas 691 tail lights and front marker lights.

I'll post a pic when they arrive.

Here is his web page, I think he has distributors in the US as well. http://www.classicandvintagebulbs.com/index.html

Cheers
