Glass moves around more than aluminum in the heat, so I'd recommend going with the original look and as stated above, uniformity counts more than the actual measurement. Your car won't be judged on original dimensions. It will be judged on what is called "fit and finish". Such things as orange peel in the paint, or just plain poor quality paint and body work, ripples in the body work, crooked door trunk and hood fit and general attention to small details of appearance. Mostly though, it will be judged on what is known as "curb appeal" which is purely subjective and in the eyes of the beholder.
