Question salvage search

I am looking for a recommendation of a good resourse for a side impacted '89-'93 mustang or mustang cobra for my upcoming project. I live in Washington state and I have had little luck with local salvage yards. I need the donor mustang for a Factory Five kit.

You could contact your auto insurance agent or local claims office and ask them where the insurance salvage pool is located in your area. Not in your area but in Rancho Cordova, Ca (near Sacramento) is Ford Auto Recycling 800-316-5277. It is a large Ford only yard and I am sure they can help you directly or refer you to someone closer to you.

Another option:

Check state auctions for mustang police cruisers. If you find one with a really rough body, you might get a real deal.

Lightbulb You also could....

Buy a really cheap early 70's pickup and side hit the one of your choice.

Then offer the driver a reasonable sum

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
