Wheel Weights

Gee, do ya think this could have been part of the problem of high speed vibration??? Thank goodness wheel weights are lead and that lead is soft!

I've since had tape weights installed onto all four wheels. No more high speed vibration!

BULLETS ARE MADE OF LEAD. AND THEY ARE SOFT BUT IF GOING FAST ENOUGHT, THEY MAKE HOLE IN THINGS!

No, the wheel is fine (thank goodness)! The only thing that got ground down was the wheel weight. I looked and didn't see any damage on the A-arms.

Thinking back I do remember a squeeking noise when I had the steering all the way over in a left-hand lock. Was months and months ago.

The other front tire's wheel weight and both rear tires wheel weights were fine.

IF YOUR WHEEL IS TOUCHING THE UPPER CONTROL, YOU NEED TO INSTALL STOPS IN THE STEERING RACK. PULL THE BOOTS BACK AND INSTALL A CLIP AROUND THE ROD. YOU CAN MAKE THE CLIP OUT OF 1" PVC.
