Default Wheel Spacers

Where can I find two 1/8" wheel spacers for Ford five lug pattern?
I need to move my rear wheels out 1/8' to prevent rubbing on the spring.

You might be able to find wheel spacers pre-made but they will most likely be thicker than 1/8"! Check the stock car suppliers. You will then need to have them machined down which is not a difficult task, nor a time consuming ordeal. You could also have them lazer cut from 1/8" sheet after having a program done on Auto-Cad. (Better choice).

Auto-Cad?!?!

Laser cut?!?!

For 1/8 inch how about a few washers from the local hardware store?????

You might have a hard time finding the Ford pattern though

Besides Jegs and Summit there are many places to get spacers in a variety of thicknesses and hole patterns. Off the top of my head:

Afco Racing
Howe Racing
Barnett Performance
Chassis Shop

Jon,
I suppose you could use washers but.... I doubt it would be safe. the area of rim to hub contact would be greatly reduced. I've also heard using spacers of any kind could subject the lugs to a higher shear load under hard acceleration. It would be great to hear from Bob Putnam. Maybe he could streighten us all out on this subject..... HEY BOB!

Believe it or not, JC Whitney. They are on sale this month, I think.

About $8.00 each

Popeye, long time no see! Is 1/8" enough? Try local O'Reilly's, or Pep Boys, etc. any local parts house that sell Mr Gasket parts and accessories. Maybe even local tire/wheel stores? How's the car coming? Next month at Seabrook?

David,
Car is shaping up. I'll miss the June meeting. We'll be in Hawaii.
Hopefully, I should be able to make the July meeting.
