Default what parts are nessesary for this engine

my plan is to drop a 7.5lr in my 88 mustang, this is what comes with the engine. what else is required:

engine block, gaskets, lifters and oil pump, with head(s) installed onto the block and push rods & rocker arms installed

P.S. if anyone knows where i can find a ford 9" rear for under 800 lemme know

Lessee, How about a nice Carburetor? I think you will need one of those; and something to mount it to.

I would guess that by having an oil pump installed it has an oil pan. You will also need a water pump and any brackets for mounting your alternator and any other accessories you may decide on. Check the motor mounts.

Maybe you should think about having someone else handle this engine build???

If you're doing this to learn go to amazon.com and get a couple of books on Ford engines and engine systems (induction, electrical, etc.) read them through and give it a shot.

There is a company that makes a swap kit for a 460 going into a Fox body car. If I remember, this was a while ago, the kit included the proper oil pan, headers and engine mounts. This was through Summit racing.
