Ppg Paint - Dbu Or Dbc???

Does anyone know the advantages of DBU or DBC??? I know DBU uses a reactive reducer, but not sure what the benefits are? Any help is greatly appreciated, Eric.

Hi Eric,
PPG has a really good web site with tech pamphlets on their products. I've used DBC clearcoat - basecoat on a couple of projects and had good results.

Eric,

I am not a professional painter but while in College I worked in a body shop and have only basic skills and equipment. They are both very good and both stink while you are applying them. Both are extremely easy to use and give excellent results.
Base coat/ clear coat is the only way to go. The clear will harden over night and "if necessary you can use hot soapy water and 1200 grit wet/dry sandpaper to perfect your finish. Buffing is a breeze, I used 3-M's Perfect I, II, & III. Good luck.
