Default fresh air to footboxes

I have read some of the older threads on the fresh air ducting. Is Cobra Restorers the only source for the parts?I was visiting SAI on the 22 of July and the parts department wanted to show me their fresh air ducting. No prices were discussed. Now when I've tried to contact the SAI parts department by their E-mail it is returned or failed. I was originally looking at their seat sliders but they only latch on one side.
I'm adding a Vintage Air heater defroster.I saw the same unit on one of the turn-key minus cars on floor.I'm changing my routing of heater hoses to match. It will untangle my stuff.I never got to see if they still used the original vacume or converted the Vintage Air unit to a pull cable on the heater door. If I use the heater as is I wiil have to mount a small vacume storage tank somewhere. any feed back?

Michael,

The email adresses for SAI has changed. The company name has changed as well.

I believe they are now called Shelby Automobiles.
You may try the same email address, but change the latter part to xxxx@shelbyautos.com.

I am not exactly sure if the names for the recipients changed or not.
Worse case give Paul Klucas a call at 702-643-3000

Not that I don't have an enduring love for all things Shelby, but Kirkham Motorsports has air vent parts too.

According to the web site - all the parts are $0.00 as well! A great deal!

I tried that E-mail address it failed also.Shelby has things all in the air .The store said that he was in two weeks ago and they will not be getting anymore audigraphed stuff anymore. The childrens foundation told us that it will be $100 per signiture on auto parts. Diecast cars are apparently a car part.
I'll try Kirkham

There have been a lot of good threads posted on this in the past and , like many others I have improvised.
I web searched for british auto wreckers and easily found a pair of Ausin Healey 3000 air vent dampers very similar to those sold at various Cobra suppliers. They are 4" dia instead of 3 1/4" and are angled at about 30 deg instead of 90 deg , but otherwise are exactly the same. Cost : $70.00 a pair and a little elbow grase to clean and repaint. I am also using the West Marine 4" blowers and I am fabbing a simple aluminum sheet duct adapter to connect to the front inlet.
Car is in and being primed -finally- 3 months late, so it will be awhile before I get the installation complete and pics taken. Lot's of good pics in old threads though.
Cheers
Greg

Finish Line sells an air vent kit. It's in their on line catalogue.
