The 'tiebar' looks like a Jag oem part.

Did Jag have a problem and maybe this
is a retro fit to help relieve the problem ??

I have seen this part in a Jag
repair manual.

Seems like it would keep everything
in line.

Thinking about adding to my Mid-States
after this deal.
