Question Which push type exterior clutch slave is best?

Gents,
I am converting my clutch slave from a hydraulic t.o. bearing to an external push type slave and fork set up. Which brand slave cyl have you found most reliable and functional?

If you have this type set up and are happy with the pedal travel, feel, and reliability I am interested in the part numbers, sources and specifications of your set up.
Thank you
Steve

Raybestos or EIS work fine. Have used both with no problems.

Thomas,
Thanks. Is there any bore ratio wisdom you could share?

Steve,

Just out of curiosity, why are you switching from the hydraulic set up?

Steve:

The slave commonly used is sourced from a late 50's Ford panel delivery it has a 3/4" bore. Go to NAPA and look at the illustrations. It is the first one listed.

Clay,
I drive my car to all events. (Like last years trip from Houston to Columbus Ohio and back) I don't trailer it. If the throw out bearing had failed along the way, well I would have been screwed. I can recover from a failure of an exterior slave in short order. It's a roadside servicability issue.

Rick,
Thanks for the heads up.
Steve
