Default Dry Sump Tank/Kirkham Chassis

I reviewed all of the old threads on Dry Sumps and couldn't find a name of someone that makes a Dry Sump tank that will fit in a Kirkham .... in front of the passenger foot box....

I think I saw a photo of a Dry Sump tank going around a passenger side foot box..... on a Kirkham Chassis..... not sure who that was.... or where I saw the photo......

But we are searching for someone who makes the Dry Sump Tank and are they still in business to make tanks for others....

If anybody knows the company that I can contact we would appreciate the info...

Morris

That dry sump you saw was on Pat Buckley's car. It IS front of the passenger footbox, which he shortened a bit to make it fit. He also has the filler cap mounted on top of the fender. It is, to say the least, assolutely outstanding. I'm not sure who finally made it for him. I'll try to post the pics.

Here are pics of Pat's outstanding set up (saved you the trouble Jamo). You'll have to ask Pat where he got the tank though.

I thought that Dave Dralle, aka "Mr. Sunshine" made it.

Don't you just love technology.....

Those are great photo's.....

And Pat .... how do I e-mail you...?

That's just the tank I saw....

Pat .. did you cut the foot box to get the tank in there?

Looks Great.... and that Cap sticking out of the fender is a outstanding idea....

That had to be a serious moment when you drilled the hole in the fender.....

That's why they make welders....

Thanks Guy's...

Tim

Is your Dry Sump tank sitting on top of the headers.....

It's hard to tell and it looks like you didn't cut any of the passenger box out to mount yours in the car....

Hey TC

Well ...... No ...... but it's hard to build anything without putting the stuff that you know and understand.....

Well ..... Elkhart Lake..... (Road America) is only about 2 hours away........ and it might be nice to once in a while take a couple of laps..... not at speed ..... of course.....

Maybe all you guy's can come up to my place and we'll go to Road America and play...... just play of course....

But damn it would be fun..... coming around the Kink..... down the back straight to Canada corner ...... then coming out from under the bridge and there's 50,000 spectators..... Wow .... what a deal..... then you spin and they all cheer...... wow what a ride..... start it up cut over to turn 5 and you end up ahead of every body you were just racing with and they can't figure out how you got ahead of them ...... especially when they saw you spin in front of all of the people at the bridge......

Damn that was fun..... and I'd like all of you to share in that kind of fun.....

Well ..... Maybe..... once in a while....

You know Showroom Stock.....
