Default Temporary rivets

What are those temporary pop rivets used to layout and fit aluminum panels called. They have a long stem that sticks up.

Yup they are the ones...hopefully I can find them at Summit now! Thanks. I have the fun job of installing my own aluminum trunk panels!

Thanks Bob...is it 1/8" fasteners for the trunk panels? Aircraft Spruce is quite a bit cheaper than Summit.

Aircraft Spruce is a great resource. Get their catalog. Glad you are getting the Cleco's. Don't try a rivet job without them! Remember, all rivet are not created equal. The all around best used to be the 'cherry' rivets (DON"T go to the hardware store for them). I may have just dated myself with that comment! I am from the school of fastner overkill. AN/MS stuff is just right for me. Lock washers are evil, safety wire is our friend

You can also get them through Finish Line...or try some of your local speed shops, theres one near me that sells them so you might have some luck with that.

The aluminum trunk panel rivets are all 1/8" diameter. We only use 3/16" (large head) rivets to secure the fiberglass.
