Default Plug gap???
Block is a Ford 302, bored .030", edelbrock heads, full MSD ignition setup, b-cam, and carbed...

where do you all recommend I gap the plugs?

About .035-.040 will get you in the ballpark.

MSD recommend bigger gaps - 50 to 60 thou. Read the ignition box manual or visit their site for their recommendations. I run 55 thou on mine, in line with what they say.

Stick to .35 to .40 to start with. If you feel you need more adjust it up. Do not go to wide as it will blow out the spark.
Remember the MSD works at low speeds not high and at higher RPM you need less gap to keep the spark hot.
